He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Myers and Anna Myers; his former wife Willow Dean Jackson Myers; and his brothers, Clayton and Tommy Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Myers; his children, Ronnie Myers (Christy) of Dunn, Sue Byrd (Lin) of Erwin and Janet Freda (Andy) of Erwin; his stepdaughter Sherry Bass (Gene); his grandchildren, Dana McGuirt (Brent), Tyler Sawyer (Megan), Ashelyn Myers, Lindsay Peregoy (John), Aaron Freda, Andrew, Ethan and Emily Myers; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon, Lori Byrd, Carly Bass and Travis Hobbs (Laura); his great grandchildren, Rachel, Rebekah, Bethany, Allie and Joshua McGuirt; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tucker, Mason Hobbs, Alyssa and Madison Byrd.
