He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Ramdeen De Silva; his parents, Victor De Silva (Rosanna George) and Trinidad; and his siblings, Ann Sinclair and Victor De Silva.
He is survived by: his sisters, Erica Humphrey Franklin (Al Franklin) and Allison Humphrey Reyes; his children, Lisa De Silva Johnson (David), Nick De Silva and Matt De Silva (Pam); and his grandchildren, Jacob De Silva (Makayla), Christopher Laney (Ellen), David Gerald Johnson and Alyssa De Silva. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
