She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, I. W. Tyndall Sr. and Lizzie Patterson Tyndall; her granddaughter Heather Ashley; her siblings, Estelle Parker, I. W. Tyndall, Jr. and Gertie Duke of Erwin; her children, Dwight Ashley of Erwin and Terry Ashley of Conover; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Ashley of Erwin and Ann Marie Moore of Conover. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
