He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Raymond, Vernell Avery, Odis and Rachel Wade. He is survived by: his sons, Joel Wade Avery and Luke Conner Avery of Erwin; his pet Sadie; his parents, Norman Avery and Sandra Avery of Erwin; his sister Kim Avery Rogers (Ray Rogers) of Erwin; his niece Brooke Hensley (Christian) of Latta, SC; and his great-nephew Huck Hensley of Latta, SC..
