It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Delano Horne (Erwin, North Carolina), who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Rogers Stewart and Levingston Stewart; her children-in-law, Laurie Horne and Danny Atkins; her sister Zelia Snead; and her parent Del.
She is survived by: her husband J. L. Horne; her children, Pamela Atkins, Dennis L. Horne (Kerry), Henry Horne (Lisa) and Donnie Horne (Linda); and also, Del Horne and Lord. She is also survived by her numerous nephews, nieces, extended family, church members, and dear friends.
