He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tina Colvin; his children, Vonda Joyce Colvin of Charlotte, NC and Corey Edward Colvin; his adoptive daughter Rinaldi Walker (Andre) of Dunn, NC; his siblings-in-law, Lula Mae Turpin (Ross) of Shorter, AL, Henry Mims of Shorter, AL, Thomas Mims (Pein) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Joseph Irby of Homewood, IL; his mothers, Reatha Colvin of Dunn and Marie Staten of Wake Forest, NC; and his close friends, Deacon Charles Burt of Erwin, NC and Conrad McNeil of Dunn, NC. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, extended church family, and friends.
