He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his daughter Crystal Potter; his stepson Tony Thigpen (Hannah) of Clinton; his son Jason Thornton (Nicole) of Benson; his sister Pam Hayes of Lillington; his grandchildren, Johnny Thigpen (Kirsten) of Clinton, Heather Thigpen of Clinton, Lucas Thigpen of Clinton and Haley Thigpen of Clinton; and his nieces, Jessica Gregory (Brad) of Lillington, Nicole Miranda of Lillington and Alexus Dillon (Andrew) of Enterprise, Alabama. He is also survived by two great nieces; and seven great- nephews.
