He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Covington and Lula McNeill Covington. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Hamilton of Fayetteville, Crystal K. Blue of Erwin and Sadie J. Covington of Fayetteville; his siblings, Stella Evans (Garland) of Dunn, Alice Gill of Fayetteville, Linda Smith of Erwin, Gail Davis (Pastor Jerry) of Angier, Vicky Covington of Fayetteville, Roosevelt Covington, Jr. of Dunn, Charles Covington of Erwin, Ricky Covington of Erwin and Larry Covington (Twyla) of Clayton; and his aunts, Yvonne Christian of Nashville, TN and Joann Johnson (Wally) of Hartford, CT. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law.
