It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Dorman Ryals of Erwin, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Lexie Odell Dorman; and her son Steven Chandler Ryals. She is survived by: her husband George Ryals; her children, George Anthony of Erwin, Anita McNeill (Dennis) of Erwin and Don Ryals; her grandchildren, Bryan Ryals Tran (Eric), Daniel Ryals (Danielle), Derrek Ryals, Sierra Braunsberg (Vince) and Zack Ryals; and her great grandchildren, Holland, Chandler of Kaylen, TJ, Kaydence and Grayson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin (904 Lucas St, Erwin, NC 28339). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
