She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Baker and Ruth Baker. She is survived by: her husband Allen Matthews; her children, Heather Adams (Jason) of Powhatan and Jonathan Haywood of Erwin; her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ethan and Ian; her stepdaughters, Bridget Pollard (Keith) of Erwin and Casey Townsend (Brandon) of Dunn; and her siblings, Sandra Napier (Jim) of Fayetteville, Eugene Baker of Fayetteville and Tommy Baker (Carolyn) of Fayetteville.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Advent Christian Church.
