With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mickie Hawks Evans of Ennice, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy F. Hawks and Elaine Spurlin Hawks; her husband Larry Wayne Evans; and her nephew Frankie Smith. She is survived by: her son Tracy Evans (Connie) of Ennice; her grandsons, Mason Evans of Ennice and Tanner Evans (Kristin); her sister Vickie Carico of Ennice; her sister-in-law Shelia Mayberry of Galax, VA; and her close friends, Judy Farmer of Ennice, Terry and Sherry Maines of Ennice.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to H.B. Spurlin Memorial Gardens, PO Box 12, Ennice, NC 28623.
