He is survived by: his parents, Cathy Marie Bryant Mabe and Burton Mabe, Jr.; his daughter Alexis Harris of Galax, VA; his grandmother Nellie Mabe of Galax, VA; his significant other Sara Mabe of Piney Creek; and his close friends, Randall Edwards and Jeff Revis. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
