She was predeceased by: her parents, Carney Belk Brown and Phebe Irene Carawan Brown; her children, Connie Allene Pugh and Ken Harris, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Diana Carol Harris and Ken Harris, Jr..
She is survived by: her former husband William Edgar Harris; her husband Joseph Madison Pugh; her sons, William Wayne Harris (Karen) of Trinity, NC, Barry Harris of Baltimore, MD and Joseph M. Pugh (Teresa) of Engelhard; and her sister Connie Gibbs (Clyde) of Pinetown. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
