He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carter Hazel and Gayzelle Hicks Hazel; his wife Linda Gail Smith Hazel; his children, Gaye Hanks (Nelson) of Adel, Donald "Woody" Hazel (Lea) of Sparks and Amelia Barker (Kevin) of Sparks; his grandchildren, Lauraleigh Shealey Weeks (Jake), Mikayla Shealey, Cuylar Hanks, Haley Vonier, Ashley Hanks (Lindsey), Jessica Barke, Chris Barker (Reagan), Sean Barker, Carter Hazel, Taylor Hazel and Walker Hazel; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Weeks, Daisy Weeks, Daniel Vonier, Jacob Caruso, Harper McQueen, Patton McQueen, Emery Barker and Finley Barker.
