Anna Jean Clarke Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Jean Clarke of Engelhard, North Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas B. Marshall and Gladys Gibbs Marshall; her husband Edward Royden Clarke; her daughter Janet Clarke; her grandson Seth Camplese; and her siblings, Phillip Marshall, Thomas Marshall, Jr., Gwendolyn M. Wagner and Susie M. Jarvis.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Clarke (Courtney) of Engelhard, Chris Clarke (Patrice) of Engelhard, Kim Simmons (Donald) of Engelhard and Laura Camplese (Dennis) of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Donald Simmons II, Anna Simmons Fincher, Sarah Camplese, Waylon Clarke, Cole Clarke, Matt Clarke, Thatch Clarke, Owen Bailey Clark and Tank Clarke; her great grandchildren, Kylie Simmons, Madelynn Clarke, Lizzie Fincher, Emmie Clarke, Kate Fincher and Camille Clarke; and her cousins, Camille Arrington and Jean Hudson. She is also survived by children earned her place as "Nana".
