She is survived by: her mother Valeria Lawrence Smith of Newport; her spouse Hyler Wayne Cox; her sisters, Joyce Masters (David) of Beaufort, NC and Richy Huneycutt of Kinston, NC; her nephew Travis Masters (Brittany) of Jacksonville; her niece Kaitlin Gibbs (JD) of Kinston; and her great-niece Reagan Gibbs.
