He is survived by: his son John Cameron Tippett of Scotland Neck; his grandchildren, Kelsie and Lathan Tippett; and his siblings, Joseph Rabon Tippette of Dortches, Bobby Tippette of Raleigh and Betty Ruth Freeman of Dortches. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
