With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Lee Ann Kurten Crosswaite of Enfield, North Carolina, who passed away on December 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Kurten and Elva Kurten; and her brothers, Jack Robbins, Skip Kurten and Jim Kurten.

She is survived by: her husband Jack Crosswaite; her children, Jeanne C. Smith (James) of Winterville and Jeffrey Crosswaite (Christi) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jones (Alan) of Vanceboro, Jacob Smith of Winterville, Charles Crosswaite of Wilmington and Claire Crosswaite of Wilson; and her sister Dorothy Wilt of Erie, PA..

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Service & Crematory (605 Country Club Dr, Greenville, NC 27834). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
