He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elton Lee Newbern, Sr. and Nora Webb Jones Newbern; his wife Ann Elliott Newbern; his son Elton Lee Newbern III (Annette); his grandmother Newbern Loud (David); his stepdaughter Katherine Peel McEwen (Chad); his grandchildren, Noah, Seth, Sarah Anne and Pittman; and his sisters, Betty Ham (Tom) and Donna Dunlow (Sidney). He was also cherished by many friends and former co-workers.
