She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Simmons and Doretha Simmons (Hill). She is survived by: her husband Karlton E. Hunter; and her children, Claudine Hunter, Lucinda Hunter Perry, Felicia Pope (Zyron), Eugene Hunter, Danielle Hunter, Cynthia Hunter, Jason Hunter, Jamaine Hunter and Krystal Hunter. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; one stepmother; six brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, saints and friends.
