It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celia Bishop Whitehead of Enfield, North Carolina, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Archbell Anderson Bishop and Hilton Oris "Red" Bishop. She is survived by: her daughter Draughn Bishop Whitehead Arbona; her son-in-law Anthony "Tony" Arbona; her grandchildren, Sebastian "Seb" and Lyra Arbona of Virginia Beach; her siblings, Linda Bishop Jones and Hilton Oris Bishop, Jr.; her nieces, Angie McKinnon and Paige Edwards; and her nephew Ethan Robert Jones. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews; as well as countless friends, and brothers and sisters.

Instead of flowers, the family would ask that you consider a donation to the League of Churches, c/o Enfield Alliance Coalition, PO Box 573, Enfield, NC 27823, to honor Celia's love for her community.
