She was predeceased by: her parents, Seikichi Ishikawa and Yasue Sakuda; her husband Merritt Maupin Railey, Jr.; and her stepchildren, Barbara Wray, Johanne Elliott and Merritt Maupin Railey III (Joanne).
She is survived by: her siblings, Seitaro, Katsumasa, Chiyo, Harue, Hatsue, Seiso and Minoru; her cousins, Okinawa and Amakusa; her children, Miyuki Elizabeth DeHart (Charles) and Kenneth Randolph Railey (Frances); her grandchildren, Matthew Jason Railey (Meredith) and Caitlyn Alexandra McCrumb (Spencer); her great grandchildren, Miles Robert Railey and Lydia Isabelle Railey; her stepson Bill Railey (Rhonda); and her caregiver Mirranda Lowry.
