She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Turnage Gurganus; and her parents, Francis Hart and Betty Hart. She is survived by: her children, Keith Gurganus (Margaret) of Encinitas, CA and Nancy Hope Gurganus of Cape Carteret; and her grandsons, Justin Gurganus, Taylor Gurganus and Christopher Gurganus.
