He was predeceased by: his parents, Watt Truell and Amelia Truell; and his brothers, Jack Truell (late Marie) and Kenneth Truell. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Truell; his children, Rex Truell (Michelle) of Lexington, Brenda Truell of Emerald Isle, NC and Andy Truell (Faye) of Greenville, NC; his sister Lynn Young (Don) of Fort Mill, SC.; and his grandchildren, Carlin Hampton (Joe), Maggie Ann McCabe, Jack McCabe, Falon McCabe, Reagan Truell and Hudson Truell.
