Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Heidi Dale of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 67, on December 13, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Dale and Virginia Dale; her sister Deidre Dale; and her great-niece Cassie Varfley-Sanchez. She is survived by: her children, Heather Thixton-Grapperhaus (TJ) of Clayton and Tyler Thixton (Sareba Moore) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Cayden Thixton, Chase Grapperhaus and Chloe Grapperhaus; her nephew Monte Sanchez II (Tyna) of Woodbridge, VA; her great-nephew Monte III; and her niece Deidre Sanchez.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Emerald Isle Sea Turtle Patrol, 312 West Firetower Rd., Peletier, NC 28584.
