Though Hattie Irene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband James H. Walker; and her son-in-law James Puckett. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Puckett of Greenville, NC, James L. Walker (April) of Williamsburg, VA, Vicky Elliott (Jeff) of Goose Creek, SC and Tom Walker (Maria) of Emerald Isle. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations in her name to Carteret Home Health and Hospice 3722 Bridges St, Suite 201 Morehead City, NC 28557.
