He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Meeks and Blanche Meeks; his siblings, Eugene Meeks, Virginia Dare McClintock, Molly Brown, Eunice Null, Betty McGrew and Katie Muck; and his son-in-law Canio Codella Jr. As.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Lee Meeks; his daughter Belinda Meeks-Codella of Emerald Isle; and his siblings, Joann Walls and Guy Meeks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
