He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Furst and Jean Furst. He is survived by: his sister Karen Marie Riter (Larry) of Newport, NC; his niece Tess Riter of Savannah, GA; his nephew Shane Riter (Ali); and his great-nieces, Penelope of Raleigh, NC. and Eloise of Raleigh, NC..
