He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver "Bill" Dale Ellis and Nellie Bartholomew Ellis; and his brother Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Regina Weldon Ellis; his son Allen Ellis; his grandchildren, Ali Grace Ellis and Emma Ellis; and his sister Shirley Marker.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Church (475 J P Taylor Rd, Henderson, NC 27537). Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
