He is survived by: his father Ervin Eugene Ward; his wife Cindy Porter Ward; his children, Heather Galdamez (Juan), Courtney Kimes (Tyler), Rodney Dale Ward Jr. (Liz) and Larry O'Daniel Jr.; his grandchildren, Rhett Harvey Ward, Jedidiah O'Daniel, Landon O'Daniel, Sophia O'Daniel, Juan Galdamez, Jalen Galdamez, Jonathan Galdamez, Justin Galdamez, Kaytee Hancock, Madison Hancock and Daxton Kimes; and his brothers, Randy Ward and Ricky Ward (Pam).
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Service - Mebane (1308 S 3rd St, Mebane, NC 27302). Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
