He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Terry Scheetz (Todd), Tina Butler (Jere) and Timothy Gerringer (Paige); his grandchildren, Torie Fields (Doug), Taylor Scheetz, Erin Parsons (Nick), Emily Bolton (Tyler), Trey Butler, Kelly Butler, Kristy Booker (Avery) and Karly Butler; his great grandchildren, Lynnleigh Fields, Laney Fields, Brooks Bolton and Avery Parsons; and his sisters, Ruby McAlister (Larry) and Dazel Oakley.
