She was predeceased by: her parents, James Craddock and Claudia Atkins Craddock; and her sisters, Alice Faye Jordan and Margaret Craddock. She is survived by: her husband James Oakes Carter, Sr.; her children, James Carter, Jr. (Wendy) of Elon, Lynn Carter Parker (Mickey) of Burlington and Vickie Carter Irby of Burlington; her grandchildren, Emily Carter Harris, Chris Morris, Tyler Self and Kaitlyn Loy; her great grandchildren, Brayden White, Lainey Self, Carleigh Harris and Isleigh Harris; and her siblings, Curtis Craddock, Richard Craddock and Nancy Perkins.
