It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Carol Moore of Elon, North Carolina, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Boone Sr. and Mattie Coble Boone; her significant other James "Calvin" Gant; and her siblings, James Ronald Boone (Kay), Marshall Edward Boone, David Michael Boone, Eleanor "Jo" Carter (David) and Alice Faye Lemon.

She is survived by: her friend Angela Murdock; her daughter Amy Gant; her siblings, Hoyt Boone Jr. (Emma) and Donna M. Boone; and her aunt Nancy'. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, family and friends.
