She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Milo Black and Helen DeVoe Black; and her siblings, Patricia VandenBerghe and Henry "Hank" Black. She is survived by: her children, Mandy Perry (James) and Jud Williams (Sandy); her grandchildren, Anna and Troy Williams; and her sister-in-law Janice Black. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
