It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Apple May of Elon, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Apple and Bessie Shepherd Apple; her husband Julius May; and her sons, Gerald Avery May, Julius Vance May, Jr. and Sean May.
She is survived by: her children, Edward May (Laura Greer) and Melinda Holmes; her grandchildren, Bonita Moon (Jason), Craig Greer-May (Heather), Keith Greer-May (Jonna), John Wesley Holmes and Laci Dietzler (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Dominick Moon, Luke Moon, Nate Moon, Bella Greer, Mia Greer and Makayla Holmes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to AuthoraCare Collective Hospice, 914 Chapel Hill Road Burlington, NC 27215.
