He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jo Dawson; his sons, John Walker Dawson, Jr. (Julie) of Burlington and Steven Bethea Dawson (Melanie) of Gibsonville; his grandchildren, Jessica Jordan (Blake), Robbie Dawson (Erika), Stephanie Dawson and Caroline Dawson; his great grandchildren, Ivy Grace Jordan, Lincoln Miles Jordan, Storm Olivia Dawson and Summit Alexander Dawson; and his sister Shelby Jean Summers (Johnny) of Gibsonville.
