With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Herbert Swift of Elon, North Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Swift and Huldah Jane Smith Swift; and his siblings, Herman Swift, Robert Swift, Clyde Swift and Alice Strickland.

He is survived by: his son Randy; his wife Lucy Marie Vaughn Swift; his sons, Johnny Craig Swift (Linda) and Randall Kent Swift (Misty); his grandchildren, Carolyn Heritage (Steve), Amy Johnson (Robert), Randall Kent Swift II, Lauren Swift (Billy Swartz) and Jessica Klugar (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Bodie Johnson, Vera Johnson and Fiona Swartz. He is also survived by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
