She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Rufus Armstrong and Edith Carroll Ray Rogers; her son Wesley "Jimmy" James Mercer; her sister Linda Montgomery; and her daughter Angel.
She is survived by: her children, Kaye Williams (Timothy), Donna Mercer Gibson, Gail Mercer and Malon Rogers (Donna); her sister Diane McKinney; and her pets, Gracie and Mercy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
