Helen B. Rippy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen B. Rippy (Elon, North Carolina), who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonah Blalock and Lester Blalock; and her brothers, Sylvester and Clarence Blalock. She is survived by: her husband Dr. W. D. Rippy Sr.; her children, Bill Rippy Jr. (Laura Rippy), Bob Rippy (Jenny Rippy), John Rippy Sr. (Janet Rippy), David Rippy and Myra Rippy (Chris Roehner); her grandson Bill; her nieces, Bonnie Blalock and Teresa Blalock; and also, Alexandra Rippy, Sterling Rippy, John Rippy Jr., Rebecca Dzupinka, Anna Kroko, David, Lee Rippy, Kristin Foss, Myra, Helen Roehner and G. W. Roehner. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

Memorials are to be given to the Helen B. Rippy Art History Scholarship at Elon University.
