It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Scott Walker (Elon, North Carolina), who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Maggie C. Love; her husband Joseph Walker; and her stepfather Robert I Love (Maggie C. Love). She is survived by: her son Marcus W. Walker of Elon, NC.; her siblings, Nancy Pennix (David) of Elon, Clarence Pinnix (Dianna) of Gibsonville, NC and Vernon Love (Regina) of Atlanta Ga; her mother-in-law Willie Mae Walker of Graham, NC; her brother-in-law David Pennix Jesse (Nancy); and her stepsiblings, Terry Slade (Robin) of Elon, NC, Samuel Slade Darlene of Elon, NC, Thomas Slade (Margaret) of Elon, NC, Bobby Slade of Burlington and Shelia Slade of Burlington, NC.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nephew and great niece.
