It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Gerringer McAlister of Elon, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pollard Milton Gerringer and Alma Fitts Gerringer; and her siblings, Theresa Hamlett (Pete) and Nathanial Bruce Gerringer. She is survived by: her husband Larry McAlister; her children, Connie Trollinger (Michael) and Jason McAlister; her grandsons, Eric Trollinger and Prince Trollinger; her great grandchild Karmen Moore; her sister Dazel Oakley; and her sister-in-law Peggy Gerringer. She is also survived by nieces and one special nephew; and 27 precious great and great-great nieces and nephews.
