It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deborah Howard Covington of Elon, North Carolina, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Deborah's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Deborah has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert "Bobby" Howard, Sr.; and her brother Stewart Howard. She is survived by: her husband J. Fabin Covington; her children, Jordan Fabin Covington (Rachelle), Ashley Elizabeth Anson (Jason) and Joseph Tyler Covington (Matt); her mother Rose Howard; her sisters, Pam Baker (Odean) and Donna Moss (Danny); and her sister-in-law Darlene Howard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Inn (605 North O'Kelly Avenue, Elon, NC 27244).
