It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danez Rudd of Elon, North Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Brodie Rudd of Washington; her parents, Thomas Barden Joyner and Bessie Barnes Joyner; and her brothers, Kelly Joyner and Thomas Joyner.
She is survived by: her children, Brodie W. Rudd, Jr. (Gwen) of Bermuda Run and Marylin Mahaley of Raleigh; her granddaughters, Jennifer Rudd Abel and Samantha Mahaley (William); and her great grandchildren, Morgan Abel, Taylor Abel and Tristan Payne.
