She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder John Wesley and Mary Idol Gilliam of Elon; her husband David C. Davenport; her siblings, Naomi Gilliam Sadler (Harry) of Burlington, Junius Wesley Gilliam (Pearl) of Burlington, NC, Frederick K. Gilliam (Ralphene) of Burlington, NC, John J. Gilliam (Hilda) of Burlington, NC, Robert D. Gilliam of Burlington, NC, Charles G. Gilliam of Burlington, NC, William R. Gilliam of Burlington, NC and Theron I. Gilliam (Sybie) of Richmond; and her nephew Don L. Gilliam.
She is survived by: her sister Sara B. Gilliam; and her sisters-in-law, Polly N. Gilliam (Bill) and Ann P. Gilliam (Charles).
