She was predeceased by: her husband Rufus Barnett; her sons, Rufus Danny Barnett and Richard Allen Barnett; her grandchildren, Daniel Lynn Everette, Trey Honse and Cynthia Barnett; and her siblings, Mary Hathaway and Benjamin Hathaway.
She is survived by: her children, Evelyn Honse of Wilson, Jean Wallace (Gene) of Macclesfield, Julie Greene of Saratoga, Kimberly Barnett of Elm City and Joseph Barnett (Kim) of Elm City; her brother Bruce Hathaway of Macclesfield; and her grandchildren, Nicole Barnett, Mary Jo Collins, Christy Barnett, RJ Barnett, Kevin Roberson, Walker Honse, Stacey Bridgers, Tammy Sholar, Amanda Lindsey, Darin Wallace, Marsha Barnett, Melissa Butts and Lisa Lamm. She is also survived by twenty six great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
