He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Walston and Katherine Webb Walston; and his sister Patricia Walston. He is survived by: his wife Frances Bridgers Walston; his son Michael "Mike" Walston, Sr. (Karen); his grandchildren, Nicole of Lakeland, Anthony Walston of Lakeland and Michael Walston, Jr. of Fort Myers, Florida; his siblings, Joan Fenn of North Port, Florida, Pete Bridgers (Susan) of Elm City, Wallace Bridgers (Cherye) of Elm City, Margarette Bridgers of Elm City and Ann Bridgers Causey of Pinetops; his friend Gethsemane; and his close friends, Allen Bradshaw and Kent Thorne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A service will be held for the immediate family (due to Covid-19) at Gethsemane Independent Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Taylor officiating on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
