He is survived by: his wife Linda Skipworth Higgins; his children, Paul Higgins (Karen) and Dana Higgins Stone (Steven); his grandsons, Jeremy Aycock and Aaron Higgins; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Kinsley and Madison; and his sisters, Pat Gambill and Barbara Shomaker (James).
