She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Oakey and Maggie Oakey; her siblings, Pete Oakey, William "Dick" Oakey, Bobby Oakey, Shirley Askew and Mary Pipkin; her granddaughter Mary Alice Driver; and her great grandchild Titus Schap.
She is survived by: her children, James Driver (Cheryl) of Virginia Beach, Dicky Driver (Kim) of Talladega, Dexter Driver (Lora) of Pinetops, Rebecca Gardner (Bryan) of Macclesfield and Tonya Bouldin (John) of Rocky Mount; and her siblings, Joyce Owens of Tarboro, Nancy Webb of Macclesfield, Frances Pipkin of Wilson, Billy Oakey of Wilson and James Oakey of Wilson. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.
