He was predeceased by: his wife Judy B. Robbins; his parents, Joe Robbins and Sallie Robbins; and his siblings, JT, Ernest, Helen, Frances and Della.

He is survived by: his children, Jenny Robbins and Donald Robbins of Annapolis; and his sisters, Faye Taylor of Fayetteville and Jean Williams of Chesapeake, Virginia..

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyners Funeral Home & Crematory (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (2800 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27896).
