It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Butch Moss of Elm City, North Carolina, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Cecil Moss and Jeanette Hayes Mosley; and his sister Lou Lynne Griffin. He is survived by: his sister Kimberly Jernigan (Chris); his nieces and nephews, Daniel Jernigan (Dana) of Red Oak, Brian Jernigan (Danyelle) of Zebulon, Cameron Jernigan of Raleigh, Christian Griffin of Florida, Hanna Smith of Florida and Sara Czechowski (Scottie) of Florida; his close friends, Billy, Brenda, Humphries and Mary; and also, Conner, Ayden, Lawson, Alton and Butch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rocky Mount Animal Shelter, 2455 Hurt Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
